Monel Coils and Slitting Coils are primarily made up of nickel (about 63%) and copper (roughly 28–34%), along with small amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. This unique blend gives them outstanding resistance to seawater, acids, and alkalis. In terms of mechanical properties, Monel boasts a tensile strength ranging from 480 to 620 MPa, a yield strength of about 170 to 240 MPa, and an elongation of up to 35%. It also retains excellent toughness and hardness, even in freezing temperatures.
